    1. Party time! Proportionally, those elephants are either adorably tiny, or those penguins are distressingly large. Buy this title from Powell's Books.

    2. Our story time crowd of pre-schoolers loved identifying the opposites in this clever board book. 3. This is a large board book, filled with pages of animals. Each two page spread shows a dozen or so animals (from hand/finger print elephants to sponge painted chicks and owls) and asks a series of questions like who is big and who is small? Who is asleep and who is awake? A Great book for getting an audience to engage with a book! It is bright and colorful and funny. Kids love shouting out the answers. The last question on each page is "and who is ready to go to a party?" and there is usually on [...]

    4. What a charming board book! Who is big and who is small? Who has a curly tail? And who is ready to go to a party? Each page asks the reader to carefully examine the creatures and to find details. Fun and interactive. This book does not just show, but allows event the youngest participants to discover.

    5. Very simple book. It's made for heavy use, and the sorting challenges are a bit advanced for early readers. Definitely for the @2ish crowd.
